About 70% of patients with orphan diseases remain in Ukraine despite russia's war against Ukraine. Our team coordinates constantly with organizations representing patients with orphan diseases to ensure larger access to medicines.
In particular, we coordinate regarding:
- current supplies of medicines to the regions where patients have relocated from the areas of active hostilities;
- delivery of the medicines to the patients that stay in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine;
- resumption of the supplies to the territories that were liberated from the russian occupation (Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!);
- procurement for the 2022 state funds;
- increase in the volume of medicines to be delivered to the western regions of Ukraine, connected with the relocation of the patients from areas of active hostilities.
