SE "Medical Procurement of Ukraine" aims to create a cost-effective, transparent and timely system of procurement in healthcare. One of the most important steps, while reaching this goal, is constant internal control over preventing any possible cases of corruption or unethical behavior by the employees.
In MPU, according to the Law of Ukraine “On Preventing Corruption” the position of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Officer had been established. He coordinates the work of the hotline and the mailbox, which were created exclusively for the applications on the possible cases of the corruption or unethical behavior from the side of the staff. He also performs regular internal assessments and yearly audit.

All information regarding an application on the case of alleged corruption ais confidential. Every application is being carefully considered by our Anti-Corruption Compliance Officer, who also initiates relevant internal investigations. Potential violations that might be investigated:
- Valuable gifts, received by employees, while performing their duties or in connection to them;
- Disclosure of the confidential information that became known while executing duties;
- Biased, politicized or discriminatory behavior;
- Possible conflict of interests;
- Illegal or unjustified enrichment;
- Other violations.
