On May 27 Europe celebrates an Emergency Medicine Day. We are grateful to all the emergency healthcare workers for your complicated, but such needed work.
We hope that ambulances, procured by the SE "Medical Procurement of Ukraine", will help the emergency healthcare workers to provide better services to the patients and save more lives.
As per May 27, the SE "Medical Procurement of Ukraine" received 302 ambulances from the suppliers. Among them 283 had been transferred to the regional emergency departments according to the order of the Ministry of Health, 19 cars are currently being transferred.
The following number of the cars had been delivered to the regional emergency departments:
- 246 ambulances produced on the basis of Citroen Jumper cars: 104 of Class C (2х4) and 142 of Class В (2х4) (19 cars are currently being transferred);
- 56 ambulances of Class В (2х4) on the basis of Renault Master.
114 ambulances are currently in the process of the being transferred and delivered to the final recipients: 75 ambulances of Class В (4х4) and 39 ambulances of Class С (4х4) on the basis of Volkswagen Crafter.
We would like to highlight that in 2020 SE "Medical Procurement of Ukraine" procured 416 ambulances of Class B (special sanitary transport) and Class C (Ambulance with Advanced Life Support), front (2x4) and all-wheel drive (4x4), for the total sum of UAH 728 mln.
Before being transferred to the final recipients, the ambulance cars undergo the careful examination and control from the side of the SE "Medical Procurement of Ukraine" experts and independent specialists, with regards to the compliance with the ToRs.
Possible defects that could be detected during the reception are corrected by suppliers. Only after re-inspection, when the quality and reliability of all delivered cars are confirmed, they are transferred to the regions.
