For the first time, the Medical Procurement of Ukraine (MPU) has procured expensive complex medical equipment using the Prozorro Market e-catalogue. We are talking about 40 reanimation ambulance cars that were purchased as part of the UNITED24 presidential initiative.
Procurement through the e-catalogue allows us to make purchases as easily and quickly as possible: the entire procedure from the announcement of the procurement to the conclusion of the agreement with the supplier took 5 days.
Now, a customer who wants to purchase reanimation ambulance cars does not have to go through a long process: create a specification, research the market and the subject of the purchase. The specialists of MPU as the administrator of the medical part of the e-catalogue, took over the work on creating medical and technical requirements (MTR) and qualifying suppliers, as well as their experience and compliance with the procurement subject.
The customer just needs to enter the electronic catalogue, find the appropriate category, and request a price quote in a few clicks.
"The development of the Prozorro Market tool, which allows public customers to purchase quickly, reliably and economically, is a part of the public procurement reform. With its help, hospitals can purchase complex equipment much more easily and quickly and be sure of its quality. It has become possible due to the fact that each supplier is checked by the MPU employees," says Edem Adamanov, acting general manager of Medical Procurement of Ukraine.
Soon, the range of complex medical equipment in Prozorro Market will be expanded even further. The e-catalogue will allow purchasing CT scanners, MRI machines, ALV devices, etc.
We will remind, Prozorro Market operates on the principle of an online store where public procuring entities can purchase necessary goods for budgetary funds. MPU, as the administrator of the medical part of the e-catalogue, fills it with goods, develops the assortment and qualifies suppliers.
