Ohmatdyt National Specialized Children's Hospital has received an innovative 384-slice computed tomography (CT) scanner.
The Medical Procurement of Ukraine (MPU) team procured and delivered this important equipment at the request of the Ministry of Health to the hospital to provide young patients with high-quality and free examination tools.
A computer tomograph is a device that allows doctors to obtain detailed images of human internal organs and tissues. This is extremely important for timely diagnosis and effective treatment. Thanks to this modern equipment, our doctors will be able to make accurate diagnoses and develop individual treatment plans for each patient.
Also, the modern computer tomography device has improved technologies aimed at reducing the dose of radiation that the patient receives during scanning.
“Despite all the challenges of the last 15 months of full-scale war, we continue to work successfully to ensure that our medical institutions are equipped with the most modern medical equipment. Quality and accessible free medical care for Ukrainians is our key benchmark. Today, Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital receives an innovative high-precision CT scanner. This will allow doctors to carry out even better diagnostics for their young patients and prescribe even more effective treatment for them,” says Viktor Liashko, Minister of Health of Ukraine.

In particular, we actively procure and supply diagnostic devices to hospitals. The CT delivered in Ohmatdyt differs from the others. Specifically, it allows you to get a better and more detailed image. And due to more slices, this CT can scan faster.
