Ukrainian healthcare institutions saved 44 million UAH or an average of 23% on the procurement of medical products in January-July 2023 using the Prozorro Market electronic catalog.
This tool operates on a marketplace principle and is free of charge for customers: it allows for quick, reliable, and convenient procurement of medical products, resulting in cost savings.
In particular, in January-July, over 2000 hospitals purchased goods through Prozorro Market from more than 500 suppliers of medicines, medical products, and equipment.
A month ago, the Prozorro Market e-catalog became mandatory for the procurement of certain medical products. The assortment now includes almost all medicines from the National List and complex medical equipment, including ambulances.
The MPU, as the administrator of the medical part of the catalog, constantly works to expand its assortment further. Currently, the medical part of Prozorro Market includes over 7000 items.

As a reminder, in July the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved amendments to Resolution No. 1178, mandating public customers to procure certain medicines and medical products through the Prozorro Market electronic catalog.
