Representatives from the MPU and the MOH visited the Embassy of France in Ukraine and met with the French Ambassador and the leadership of the French Hospitals Purchasing Group (UniHA), which unites over a thousand medical institutions.
The visit took place within the framework of the International Medical Partnership knowledge exchange program. Its goal is to establish connections and to discuss projects regarding the collaboration between the Medical Procurement of Ukraine and the Healthcare Cooperation Group UniHA.
In particular, UniHA representatives expressed their willingness to support the MPU through knowledge exchange, training, and cross-mission cooperation in supply, digital logistics, and procurement matters.
As a result of the visit, Kateryna Nekrasova, Deputy General Manager of the MPU, and Pierre Thepot, President of the French Hospitals Purchasing Group (UniHA) and the General Director of the Atlantic Coast Hospitals Group, signed letters of intent for further collaboration, including the exchange of expertise and best practices.
"Securing additional international support for further transforming Ukraine's healthcare sector in line with national priorities during the ongoing full-scale invasion is of utmost importance. At the MPU, we also pay great attention to studying international experience, particularly in terms of Eurointegration processes, and its adaptation to our ongoing processes. This way, we can even more effectively provide patients with the necessary medicines and medical products," said Kateryna Nekrasova.
