The Medical Procurement of Ukraine (MPU) has delivered over 94% of the medicines and medical products purchased last year to healthcare facilities.
Over 98% of the medical products purchased in 2022 have already been received at the MPU warehouse. A small part of these medicines has not yet been shipped to the regions, as quality checks for the medicines may be ongoing, or a hospital may have existing stock and does not currently require specific medical products.
In particular, medical products have already been delivered to healthcare facilities in the following areas:
- Adult oncology - 95%
- Infertility treatment - 93% (everything received at the warehouse)
- Pediatric hemophilia - 100%
- Adult hemophilia - 99% (everything received at the warehouse)
- Cystic fibrosis - 100%
- Newborn screening - 100%
- Idiopathic familial dystonia - 95% (everything received at the warehouse)
- Diseases with a high mortality rate - 100%
- Hepatitis - 100%
- Disseminated sclerosis - 100%
- Cerebral palsy - 100%
- Pediatric oncology - 97%
- Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis - 100%
- Primary immunodeficiency - 100%
- Orphan diseases -100%
- Blood glucose monitoring devices - 100%
- Nanism- 100%
- Endoprostheses and transplantation kits - 100%
- Children's mental disorders - 100%
- Cardiovascular diseases - 86%
- Pulmonary arterial hypertension - 100%
- Blood donation consumables - 94%
The cost of the medicines and medical products purchased by the MPU last year and already delivered to hospitals amounts to over 5.1 billion UAH.
Deliveries of goods for the current year's budget are also actively ongoing. In particular, the cost of medicines that have already been delivered to hospitals exceeds 1.4 billion UAH.
