Since the beginning of the war Ukraine received humanitarian health assistance for over UAH 50 mln from the international partners. Our team, together with the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine and volunteers, coordinates this work.
Among others we received:
- medicines and medical devices to provide assistance to the war-wounded and civilian population;
- first-aid kits for the militaries;
- medical equipment, namely defibrillators, ECG monitors, mobile X-ray machines, etc.
Upon arrival medical items are distributed either through 31 regional logistical hubs according to their needs, or are being delivered directly to the hospitals. From the warehouses the items are delivered to the hospitals, including the ones in the hot spots, if there is a possibility to do so.
We are thankful to all the producers, volunteers, Embassies and organisations that provide medical humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. Among the donators are the companies and organizations from Sweden, Poland, France, Denmark, Austria, Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, Ireland, Great Britain, the USA etc.
