We received the first batch of Idarubicin 5 mg - 4018 pcs (among the purchase of 5594 pcs) and 1319 pcs of Linezolid 300 ml (2 mg/ml) (this is the total procured amount). The price of received goods is 3,5 mln UAH.
Idarubicin is procured for the treatment of adult cancer and Linezolid - child cancer. Medicines were produced in Italy and Norway.
Tender procedures for these molecules were announced on 12 and 15 June 2020, among the first ones. Auctions in Prozorro took place on 30 July 2020. The estimated price of Idarubicin 5 mg is 6,9 mln UAH, received price - 4,5 mln UAH. The economy only on this drug is 2,4 mln UAH or 35%. The estimated price of Linezolid 300 ml (2 mg/ml) was 276 thousand UAH, received price - 222 thousand UAH. Meaning the economy was 53,8 thousand UAH or 20% of the state money. Agreements with the winners of the auctions had been signed in August.
Despite the delay with the launch of the procurement procedures, that happened due to the Ministry of Health, COVID-19 pandemic and disruption in the supply chains, we managed to arrange the delivery of the drugs this year.
The goods will be distributed further according to the previously formed requests from the regional healthcare departments. We plan to deliver medicines to the regions by the end of 2020.
