SE "MPU" received first 200 thousand vials of the COVID-19 vaccine CoronaVac on the warehouse of its logistical partner. The manufacturer of the vaccine is the company Sinovac Biotech Ltd. This is the first batch from the procured 1 913 316 pcs of the vaccine, according to the Procurement Agreement, conducted between the SE "Medical Procurement of Ukraine" and the company Lekhim.
In the warehouse the incoming quality control will take place, which includes visual inspection, verification of accompanying documents, recalculation. Delivery of the vaccine to the regions is expected to begin on Monday, April 12, in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Health on distribution.
The shelf life of CoronaVac vaccine is 24 months. The vaccine can be transported and stored at 2-8 ° C, protected from sunlight. Transportation by the logistics company will take place in special containers to provide a cold chain at each stage of the route.
Delivery of the first batch does not release the supplier from the obligation to pay fines and penalties for non-compliance with the terms of delivery provided by the Contract. SE "Medical Procurement of Ukraine" expects more information from the Supplier on the delivery terms of the next batches.
